I decided to have my beginning of the year theme be jungle. I found cute monkeys and my sister let me borrow her inflatable jungle animals from Oliver's birthday party.

Here is my door
I changed my alphabet this year and I am going to try an enviromental print letter wall...we will see how well it works or how long it lasts.
I still need to add the horozontial lines of the grid.
Here is my birthday board. I am going to have the students decorate a bee with anything they want and we will put it on their birthday month hive.

Here is the welcome sign I got for the open house.

I had the jungle animals around the room but I was worried that the kids would ruin them at the open house so I put them on top of the cubbies.

Platinum Blonde???

I am going to get my hair done in an hour. I have decided that I am going to add more brown to my hair. I even went out and bought new brown hair extensions! It is kind of a big change for me. Here is the before.... (taken in January, I had just added more blonde to my hair and bought new blonde hair extensions)

Stay tuned for the "After" picture!

Check out this website!

If you know me you know I love designer fabrics. Especially Amy Butler and Moda. For the last two years I have been trying to start a business with my mom making bags and aprons using this fabric. I found a website with that very thing. And, it was started by one of my long lost best friends from high school. I have been trying to find her for a long time. I knew we were friends for a reason. We must be kindred spirits!

Flaming Gorge!!!

The annual Flaming Gorge trip is over! :( My camera batteries went dead the second day and after that I could not get my camera to turn back on. I have so many great memories that I didn't get a picture of. My aunt Clair organized a yearly family "party" and it was so much fun. Stefan towed up a huge fun camper, and I didn't get any pictures of that either.

We played "beauty shop" on the beach. Sophie is a master when it comes to hair and makeup! She put on my foundation, blush, eyeliner, lipliner, lip gloss and mascara like a pro. She is very skiled for a 3 year old. My camera batteries went dead so I don't have a picture of the finished product.

Oliver walking on the beach. He loved to walk along all of the camp chairs!

Oliver exploring Grandpa Joe's fishing gear

Oliver dancing with Grandma Jean in his jammies.

Sophie working on my hair at the beach

She loved brushing out my curly hair and adding lots of clips

Once I told her I had my makeup in my backpack she was done with my hair and ready to start the make-up. The rest of the week she would ask me if she could do my hair and make-up.

This was the view from our campsite. It was first thing in the morning and I was sitting at the picinc table drinking a diet coke when I took this picture, so RELAXING!

I loved this hat with the special fishing head lamp attached that doesn't scare the fish.

My dad caught four fish in 2 hours the last full day we were there. He even caught the fish during the 3 hour window for "optimal" fishing, according to his GPS.

Austin taking a break from setting up camp in the heat.

Oliver's first year at Flaming Gorge. He was such a good boy! We love having him with us!!
